During the testing of the 2025 Tata Punch Facelift, it was revealed that it will be launched with new features and designs.
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Tata Punch in a new
facelift avatar in the Indian market. The Tata Punch was recently introduced in
an all-new electric avatar, featuring advanced features and several external
changes. Launched for the first time in the Indian market in 2021, the Tata
Punch has since become the most preferred SUV in the micro compact SUV segment.

In the spy shots revealed, the Tata Punch can be seen
completely camouflaged, making it difficult to discern most of its design
changes. However, the new Tata Punch Facelift for 2025 is expected to feature a
redesigned grille along with new LED DRLs and redesigned headlight setup,
similar to what has been seen in its electric version. The side profile remains
unchanged, while new alloy wheels are expected to be introduced. At the rear, a
redesigned tail light and stop lamp mount will be featured along with a
modified bumper.
Tata Punch Facelift: Features and Cabin
On the inside, we can expect a new dashboard layout along
with a central console. Physical buttons are likely to be replaced with
touchscreen controls in several places. Its cabin is also expected to be
heavily inspired by the Tata Punch electric variant. Features include a
10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument
cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity,
height-adjustable driver's seat, ventilated seats, cruise control, electronic
sunroof, wireless charging, automatic AC control, and USB charging sockets for
rear passengers.
Safety Features of the Tata Punch Facelift
Safety features are expected to include six airbags,
electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold
assist, ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring system, and
ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Engine for Tata Punch Facelift
No changes are expected under the hood, with the current
engine options likely to be retained. This includes a 1.2-liter three-cylinder
petrol engine producing 88 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, available with both
five-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmissions. The same engine is
also expected to power its CNG version, generating 73.5 bhp and 103 Nm of
torque, paired only with a five-speed manual transmission. Gearbox options may
include a 5-speed manual transmission along with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Indian Pricing and Rivals of the Tata Punch Facelift
The upcoming Tata Punch Facelift is expected to be priced at
around Rs. 6 lakhs or more in the Indian market. It will compete with models
like the Maruti Fronx, Maruti Ignis, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Hyundai
Exter.
